IWS Season's Beatings
Saturday, December 1st
Bogey's, Montreal, Quebec, CANADA
Attendance 326
Kevin Steen started the show by telling them that his Doctor has ordered him to take some time off to heal up, but he decided to come to the IWS to do commentary and to remind people that at Blood, Sweat and Beers 2007 he promised to get Manny and he still planned on doing that.
Up in Smoke (Cheech and Cloudy) beat 2.0 (Jagged and Shane Matthews) in 9:31 when Cheech kneed Jagged in the face.
In the "Spot-Match" Samson made Alex Price tap to a cinched-in one legged crab at 9:53. (With Santino on the outside)
The one night team The Green Bastards (Green Phantom and Kenny the Bastard) beat the Shit Storm (Shit-Hawke and EXesS) in 7:13 when Kenny pinned Hawke.
After the match, Beef came out and killed Kenny, reminding people that Kenny is Viking's brother. He accused the crowd of having no heart, of no longer being IWS Hardcore Soldiers. "Unlike Viking, I don't want to drink with you, I don't want to talk to you, I don't want to shake your hand, I don't want to be your friend on facebook."
Big Facebook chant
Franky the Mobster beat Eddie Kingston in 12:08 in a very Dance Dance Revolution match. Funny as hell and Franky dances like Ted Levine in Silence of the Lambs.
After the match, Eddie Kingston did a quick shoot on Zandig.
The Untouchables (Jimmy Stone and Don Paysan) won the Tag Team Scramble in 15:13 double-teaming and pinning Jimmy K. Kid K worked surprisingly well with Jimmy K. Vannessa Kraven was physically dominant and worked well as a team with Twiggy. The Super Smash Brothers (2.0 and Stupefied) were pulling off wacky and effective double-team combinations all over the ring.
(The match was changed to one fall from the previously announced elimination match.)
Max Boyer defended his IWS Canadian Title beating Damian in 9:24 after an extremely physical contest.
After the match, Damian announced that he will have his retirement match in February at Violent Valentines and since he was given the choice of wrestling anyone on the IWS roster for his last match, he decided to wrestle the most underrated wrestler on the IWS roster: Kenny the Bastard.
Before his championship match, Manny bitched at Kevin Steen for only showing up in the IWS when he felt like it and then attacked him viciously with a chair, sending a bleeding Kevin Steen reeling to the back.
Manny defended his IWS title against Lufisto in an Old School IWS Death Match in 11:07 putting Lufisto through a table with a Junkie Driver. Lufisto may have set a modern record for the number of ball shots in one match. She was also poised to make history by winning the IWS title, before Sexxxy Eddy's valet Hottie Holly distracted Lufisto by coming out to Eddy's music, allowing 2.0 to attack Lufisto from behind.
Manny recently ordered the IWS staff to change the location of the ring entrance, which just about everyone agrees is a good thing, but it is somewhat suspicious how easily this new set-up made it for 2.0 to ambush Lufisto.
Manny = Not as dumb as he looks.
After the match, Franky the Mobster came out and challenged Manny to a match at the Medley. Manny replied that the only thing Franky is good for is dancing and talking on the mike, and Manny would rather face a real wrestler like Sylvain Grenier. A bleeding Kevin Steen came out and said that he didn't give a shit what his doctor had ordered, he would be at the Medley and he would be there to win the IWS title and to KILL MANNY.
Manny announced that at Praise the Violence at the Medley, Kevin Steen would have to face Franky the Mobster and Sylvain Grenier and the winner of the match would get to fight Manny for the belt.
