IWS Extreme Dream II Results (Quick & Dirty)
Saturday, August 20th, 2005
Le Break, Montreal, Quebec

Three New Champions!

The International Wrestling Syndicate crowned three new champions yesterday as nearly three hundred fans crowded into Bar Le Break in Montreal cheering themselves hoarse and pounding the IWS ring in delight. Fans are already describing Extreme Dream II as “amazing” and “F’N Awesome!”

The summer is usually a slow time for Quebec wrestling in general. This show was our best attendance for an August show ever and the IWS management would like to thank the fans for their support.

Attendance: 287

Dark Match: Jimmy Stone beat Maxime Boyer 6:53

Extreme Dream Semi-Finals
Chris Bishop pinned Kid Kamikaze 8:03
El Generico pinned Evil Ninja with a 450 splash 11:20
---

IWS Tag Team Title Match
2.0 (Jagged & Shane Matthews) beat champions The Flying Hurricanes (Takao & Kenny the Bastard) in 13:13. Jagged & Shane combined for a double pin on Takao. The Flying Hurricanes were the longest reigning tag champions in IWS history winning the titles from the SLI (Viking & Damian) September 25th, 2004 during Freedom to Fight.
---

Brian the Guppie lead a tribute to the late Chri$ Ca$h, a star of Combat Zone Wrestling and a friend to much of the IWS locker room who died tragically in a motorcycle accident.

Lionel Knight beat Player Uno 7:59

After the Intermission, IWS owner PCP Crazy F'N Manny came to the stage to publicly berate the Evil Ninja. The new IWS tag champs, 2.0, who had just recently celebrated with the fans and sprayed champagne in delight over their victory, came to the ring and turned their backs on the fans to follow the orders of “Uncle Manny” and beat the Evil Ninja senseless.

Number One Contender Gauntlet Match

Entrant#1: Fred La Merveille

Entrant#2: Dan Paysan
Dan Paysan pins Fred La Merveille 9:53

Entrant#3: Viking
Viking pins Dan Paysan 15:11 (5:18)
Fred attacks his SLI partner Viking knocking him unconscious with a “101” pedigree from the top rope through a chair while SLI valet Elsa Bangz looked on in horror.

Entrant#4: Franky the Mobster
Franky did push-ups on Viking’s KO’d body for the pin 18:53 (3:42)

Entrant#5: Tomassino
Franky beat Tomassino 23:45 (4:52)

Entrant#6: The Arsenal
While Franky was cutting a promo, the Arsenal came out without music, knocked Franky loopy with a chair and rolled him up. 25:38 (1:53)

Entrant#7: Kevin Steen - Pro Wrestling Guerrila (California) champion and Combat Zone Wrestling Iron Man Champion
Kevin Steen beat the Arsenal with the Steenalizer 34:50 (9:12)

Entrant#8: Beef Wellington
In a stiff, epic contest Kevin Steen beat a serious (and tassle-less!) Beef Wellington, but it took two Package Pile Drivers, the second one on a chair to do it. 48.05 (13:15)

Kevin Steen immediately abandoned his shot at the IWS heavyweight title saying, “I don’t give a shit about the IWS or the IWS title. I am the CZW Ironman champion. I am the PWG champion - that makes me the best wrestler in California. Don’t get me wrong the IWS title is one of the most prestigious titles in the world, but I have already won it! The only reason that I want to be here, the only thing that makes me want to come back is... REVENGE. I want Damian. I want him next month, September 17th at Blood, Sweat and Beers. And I want him in a street fight, in a Last Man Standing Match!”

(I am slightly condensing Steen’s intense promo which alone would justify the purchase of the Extreme Dream II DVD when it comes out from www.smartmarkvideo.com )
---

Extreme Dream Finals
Chris Bishop beat El Generico 13:03
Chris Bishop becomes the IWS’ first Canadian Champion. Bishop, from the Ontario based UWA hardcore promotion, has won his first five matches in three shows with the IWS - something no IWS rookie has ever done.

Kid Kamikaze spoiled Bishop’s celebrations ambushing the new champion and stealing the new belt before it was even unveiled.
----

IWS Heavyweight Title Ladder Match
Traditionally IWS Main Events have Japanese ring intros, with both competitors in the ring in separate corners. IWS champion Sexxxy Eddy made that impossible attacking challenger EXesS during his entrance. The intense contest that followed featured insane bumps including a Russian Leg Sweep by Eddy off the top of a ladder through a barbed wire table.

To win and become the new IWS champion, EXesS had to practically murder Eddy throwing him off the ladder into the crowd, busting Eddy's mouth the hard-way and sending the nearly indestructible Sexxxy Eddy to the hospital for 14 stiches in his mouth. EXesS climbed the ladder to finally win the IWS title after countless failed attempts in the last two years. 21:03
